Couple of mod questions?

Is a CAI a CAI???? Does it really matter if it is from AEM or a cheap one off ebay? They all seem to be made out of very similar stuff and look the same.

Is there any point in getting good plug wires like some Nology??? Will it make any difference in performance or will i just be wasting my money.

It seems to me that there is a lot of stuff out there that sounds really great but doesnt do a whole lot. Any advise is appreciated.

i would also like to add on to some of the questions such as... does anyone know the stock bore of the throttle body for the 01+ civics? and does anyone know of a stroker kit for the d17?

im my opinion its not the name of the intake its the size of the piping...bigger pipe more air flow obviousy...and in terems of wires i cant call it to me the best are msd because there the biggest and seem to conduct better than the ngk wires i had

in terms of wires, i read somwhere that without an ignition system, any wires besides stock wires would just be wasting my money. any truth to that? Im getting ready to put some new plugs and wires in but i dont feel like wasting my money.

also, what would be a good size pipe to look for in the CAI???
