Re: Re: turbo for gtp

Just curious, why are you opting for the turbo kit instead of the MP112, MP112 hybrid, P&Ped GenV M90, or even a stage 4 M90?

What 1/4 times will you be shooting for?

That will be exciting setting that thing up, good luck with it!

Re: turbo for gtp

as much fun as the supercharger is right now, they are about the most inefficient way to gain hp, gas mileage goes up so much more per hp compared to a turbo charger. Plus, for 3g, how coul i say no to a 160 hp gain at the wheels! (actualy more like a 130 whp gain b/c i gotta take the supercharger out, but good enough, right?)

this is just a start though, im goin fer high 12's realistically, cause i also gotta drive this thing around off of the track too

Re: turbo for gtp

i don even know if im doin it anymore. i talked to one v the guys at cartuning performance, and he said that the turbo and intercooler w/ an aftermarket exhaust could bring 480hp at the crank
and thts way more than im looking for, i want my ride to b quick, but i dont have tht kind of gas money right now

Re: turbo for gtp

but yeah they do ,give good gas mileage compard to other things (superchargers are especially inefficient), but there is really no way to have truly good gas mileage with that much horsepower
