I paid $500.00 with core exchange for my JWT ecu through STILLEN and $560.00 for JWT S3 cams through STILLEN. I also have a STILLEN header and intake, never had my car dynoed but I can tell you what is advertised per mod and what your engine or car produces is another story. For the G20, it is the heaviest of all the SE-R cars produced in America and mine is an automatic. I can't say that I have not experienced a major difference in how my car drives, but exact numbers I don't have. I got the idea to go ahead with the cams and ecu after my car got wrecked at the rear quarter panel, I then had the whole car painted over including the ugly little chrome door handles, black. This is the original color. I also purchased Luke's 99G20t OE rims with tires for $600.00. Shop around the claissifieds before you decide on a purchase, you might get lucky and find someone who has them used. My mods were a bit costly and I had them professionally installed, but it is great if you have the tools and some pals to help you. I wish had this. I think you will enjoy the difference.

Comparing 4 door models based on Edmunds.com specs... 92 P10 = 2745lbs 92 SE = 2829lbs 00 P11 = 2961lbs 00 SE = 2962lbs If you compare a 4 door P10/P11 to a 2 door Sentra, yes the 2 door is lighter (obviously!) But the G20 has always been labelled the "heaviest" SR20DE when the 4 Sentra has deserved the title. |

Those numbers for the older Sentras seem very high. Here's what I have for that stuff. Also.. the 92 SE would have been a GA16 motor, not the SR20 motor.
From what I was able to find, the new 2002 4dr Sentra SE-R Spec V weighs in at 2771lbs, the regular SE-R is a couple lbs lighter than that. The 01 SE, which is a 4dr sentra w/ SR20 motor weighs 2617lbs. The older 1998 4dr Sentra SE (also SR20) weighs in at 2674lbs. The 2 door SR20 models (SE-Rs) were around 2550lbs. The older 4 door Sentra models w/ the GA16 motor were in the 24xx-25xx range, depending on trim and transmission. Hope this helps. Oh yeah, these were all 5-spd weights. So, as you can see, an equivalent B14 or B15, is still quite a bit lighter than a P10 or P11.

I would suggest that you see for yourself, both the JWT S3 and S4 cams have a loping idle with the S3 being less severe. This is what I was told when I purchased mine from JWT. I can't say for sure. I have never met anyone with the S4 cam. From experience the lope has not been a concern. It only appears to occur when I'm at a traffic light. It use to happen alot but I was told to turn the little light blue screw nob located just above my valve cover to the left and that would lessen the loping idle, It worked. Oh! I believe the S4 cams are more expensive. Give Jim Wolf a call @ 1-619-442-0680 and he normally is available for questions.
The website hasn't been updated in eons and is only basically informative. Hope this helps. :flash:

If you have a 2001, it has roller rockers which other SR20 engines do not have. JWT does not have an S3 or S4 roller rocker cam grind, those are for the 91-99 SR20 engines. There were rumors that JWT is developing a roller rocker cam.
The roller rocker engines dyno pretty well stock anyway (~128hp), so you'd be better off skipping cams and going for intake and header. I saw a 2001 Sentra SE (same type cams) do about 143 with a Hotshot header and a Place Racing cold air intake and stock ECU. Don McLaurin 99 G20t |

hey paradyme,
I have an AT Primera too. With the mods that you have done... how significant do you think the difference is...? wider power band? more peak power? significantly faster??

Well, Like I said I have never had my car dynoed. I plan to though at RosenAutoSport as soon as I get a chance. The automatic is a really a set back because of the long shifts that are programed for comfort the mods I have quickly out grow this transmission that lacks responsiveness. I am really entertaining what I call the ultimate mod for a auto SE-R and that is to have my trans reworked by LEVEL 10 back in Jersey. They are the people to see for performance auto transmissions. They have several levels of modification and have done the auto SE-R trans before. I have spoken to a sales person there who estimates the mods I want that include reworking the valve body to be around $1,500
They suggest I bring my car and leave it for a day or two. Well that's my answer. If you have an auto trans SE-R, before you even dream of turbo DET or whatever you need to see LEVEL 10. Check out the website. www.levelten.com :flash:
