drivers window doesn't come up properly

I have a 96 blazer and just recently the window crapped out on me on the drivers door, it will come up in the back but the front will dip down and i have to pull up the front and then roll it up at the sime time for it to go all the way up. I wanted to know if this is something I can fix myself or if I need to take it into a mechanic or dealer? I have taken off the door panel before for speakers but i don't recall seeing the inner-workings of the power windows in there so I'm wondering if its accessible or if its a more involved job. Also if I have to have it done by someone else who's the best person to take it to? A mechanic? Body shop? or dealer?
Thanks in advance

THe front molding on the window must have come off. It happened to my passenger side window (94 K5 blazer) and it wistles unless you put a napkin in the gap. Mechanic should do it. Dealers ream you for it.

Pull your door panel... Roll down the windows about 4 inches... You will see to 10mm headed bolts in a bracket attached to the window... Pull these bolts, the plate will fall forward...Set plate aside... Now, holding the window, drop the window with the switch until the mech is at the bottom of the door... Tip the window forward, pull it out... You can get the new clips at the dealer for about 5 bux...(Do not get the crappy ones from the HELP section of the autoparts stores, they suck! Get the oem ones!)

Well i took the door panel off and I see what the problem is, seems my setup is a bit different than what you're describing, theres a scissor assembly and on the ends of one of the arms is a bolt that has seperated from the roller on the track on the bottom of the window, I went to a GM dealer, first I tried to get the service department to tell me how much it would cost to fix it, and they wanted $74 just to look at it, which is a waste because I could tell them exactly what was wrong I didn't need them to look at it just tell me how much it would cost to fix so I walked out of there and into the parts department, they don't sell the roller and bolt just the whole power window regulator for $250, which I have a hard time justifying because the motor and everything works fine its just one little roller that can't cost more than $3 so I don't know what I'm gonna do now, went around to a few autoparts stores nobody caries the part, gonna try some junkyards I guess, anyone have any other ideas where to get this part?
