240 SHO Radiator. Help!!!

Hey guys, I had a question, I need a radiator for my 240, the car didn't have one when I bought it, I wanted to go with the Fludyne models (has to be all aluminum), But I am kinda cautious, as I don't know if the 240 upgrade Radiator will suport a SHO V6. Is it possible to buy a Fluidyne 300ZX radiator and install it into the 240, and will it fit on the mounting brackets or does this require some mods?????? I don't want to go the mod route cuz damn near evything has to be custom made already, but I want a radiator that will do it's job.
I asked Fluidyne how much for a custom fit and the prices weren't that pretty appealing , you can imaging a reg for the 240 is $460.00 imagine a custom fit, especially to a broke motherF***** like me .
I happened to spot the radiator in my brothers BMW 89' 750il and damn, that car comes with the best of everything, a MASSIVE all aluminum radiator stock!!!!!!!!!! I was thinking of going to a salvage yard and getting that cuz if it supports a V12 should do great with a V6, and it will be also cheaper at the salvage yard, and the money I save I can use for the fitment. Just an out of the bloom possibility, you know, an Einstein moment .

Anyway, I finished the Harness installation inside and back, I need to fix the dent and paint the engine bay to finish installing the ECU, and also need a T56 tranny, damn those thing are expensive. Also installing ABS into my 240, will be interesting to see if it works. Anyone know if the rear diff from a Q45 or 300zx has two exciter rings or, do the hubs hold the ABS sensors? I am talking of the rear HUBS, the J30 has one exciter ring on the diff, need two, either one on each axle or ouput flange.
Any Help will be greatly appreciated. THANKS.

Well maybe you could get an SHO radiator and try to put it in, shouldn't be much more trouble then the BMW one. Maybe Fluidyne or Koyo or someone makes one for the SHO. For custom hoses, I heard tha the www.coolflex.com hoses are great, and you can bend them so they fit perfectly.

Re: 240 SHO Radiator. Help!!!

I was told by autostar perf to get an aluminum radiator, posibly 3-4inch thick, that way, when I get the second engine rebuilt, I am not running around trying to buy more parts that will hold up to the extra power.
I have two SHO engines, and shoshop.com have a stroker kit, cams, and tons of other shit that will give you around 280hp-310hp. They also have a supercharge kit and the stage III is good for around 400hp to the wheels, but I want to go with a II-turbo setup in the future, so I am trying to do things once even if it prolongs the project.
Oh and SHO radiators are known for failure, I am on my second, they are crapy peices of shit about1.5" thick.

why don't you just get the dual core I beleieve, Aluminum radiator by KOYO for the ka24de powered 240sx.

That would cool a SHO engine just fine... and will fit in a 240sx perfectly

the fluidyne and koyo radiators are two core radiators that are over 2" think its going to handle whatever that v6 puts out..... those handle over 500whp on rb swaps.

www.srswap.com $350

www.enjukuracing.com $350

take your pick muhaha, srswap sells some with fans and chyt as a kit for more money tho..... which your going to need anyhow but you can probably source up an electric fan cheaper then that.
