How to wire amp to sub?
What's the best way to wire this? What do I do with the high/low pass filter, the input sensitivity, the balanced/unbalanced switch, and the stereo, bridged or tri-mode? Also, what gauge wiring kit do I need and where is a good place to get one? Please help a beginner?
These are my amp specs: 75 watts x 2 at 4 ohm RMS 150 x 2 at 2 ohm RMS 300 watts RMS bridged into 4 ohm Gold-plated power/ground and speaker connections Gold plated RCA inputs with extra set of RCA's for adding an amp Balanced/unbalanced switch for RCA inputs Infrasonic filter at 25 Hertz eliminates inaudible low frequencies that waste power High or low pass filter with on/off Stereo, bridged, or tri-mode capable Hi-pass filter adjustable from 50-200 Hz Lo-pass filter adjustable from 50-200 Hz Input sensitivity (gain control) adjusts from 5-0.2 Mv The back of my 10" sub says -4ohms -500W MAX -250W NOM Frequency responsiveness 18HZ - 2.5 kHz sensitivity 87 dB |

Re: How to wire amp to sub?
does your sub have 2 pos and 2 neg?
If not, run one positive to the outside positive and one negative to the outside negative
