gotta love the splines
ok...i need to know how many splines my 700r4 has. which ones to i count? the smaller ones or the bigger ones?

mine was 26 i believe the older ones had 28 no??? or maybe im backwards

umm what trany did you take out. then i will be able to tell you if it will fit. grrr ill just look it up. tell me the old trany anyway and ill check everything.

well theres only two sizes for the yoke also, atleast on chevy auto's. but if he ever replys we will know for sure.

oh well never mind i just found the info on yoke's. ill just post it and if its not what hes looking for then he will just have to tell us finaly. anyways....
all chevy autos EXCEPT the 400 and 4l80E had a 27 spline yoke. the 400 and 4l80E had a 32. so if your going from a 400 you'll need to swap it but any other and your fine. oh yeah, dont forget you might need to cut your drivahft depending on what trany you had before.

sorry bout the wait...i kno i gotta cut the driveshaft...its a 88 700r4..and its the splines commin out the the tranny that im counting...the part in the bellhousing.... i counted 27

i always win!!! j.k. .......all you gotta do is tell them what year your tranny is and they will give you the right converter with the proper splines
