A2 DIGIFANT NEED HELP, can't rev it hard, have to ease it

Hey everyone, i have a 1990 vw jetta wolfsburg edition, i have some stuff done to it look at pics -> http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/638099 <- ok here we go!...
i let it idle for about 10-15 mins today and she just died, started it up and ran for maybe 5 seocnds and died. so i quit starting over n over so i can avoid problems. if i were to go to POUND on the gas it will just croak, if i ease it up to 5k rpm it will do it you can't just romp on it
i have no clue what the problem can be so im resorting to you fellas. if anyone knows whats wrong PLEASE TELL ME HERE OR [email protected].

The car has the following modifications: Neuspeed intake, bosch Platnum4 plugs, taylor 8mm wires, Techtonics tuning cat back exhaust with flowmaster muffler, brand new starter, brand new distributor, new cap, new rotor, breather filter. i think that seals the deal. thanks everyone there are pics here http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/638099 those pics are as rescent as can be july 2 2004, AND ITS NOW MY B DAY! booya, but i have no damned car.

THANKS EVERYONE, LUIGI Q

ohh yes! the car idle's at 1000rpms -1500rpms, it has a lifter tick!!! it never had it till i put the distributor in, hopefully its a small case of bad timing
