Re: what should i do?

I took my car to AutoZone and they checked the battery, starter and alternator; and all of this parts are working fine.

I was also able to push start the car, but as soon as I turn the car off it would not start.

I am running out of options, any ideas what could be the cause?

Re: what should i do?

I was able to bypass the ignition switch by connecting one of the wires from the starter to the hot side of the battery and it works fine so that eliminates all possibilities that it’s the starter.

I have been told that if that happens then it’s most likely it’s the ignition switch. Anyone knows a good way of testing the ignition switch?

Hey best result just replace it or it might end up costing you alot more if you put it off. So you turn the key and no click? No starter whizzing on or other things? yeah it's either a fuse if it's starting with direct power or if the fuse is good just replace the ignition switch.
