1993 Ford Ranger fuel pump

I am trying to replace my fuel pump and I have never done this. How do I remove my gas tank? Can anyone please help me? Thanks

It's really not that difficult.I don't remember the specifics since it's been
awhile since I did it.There is a clamp around the filler tube, then you remove the metal plate that protects the tank. Then you remove the straps that actually hold the tank and slowly lower it being careful not to pull on the wiring for the pump until you disconnect it.By the way you hold the tank up with a jack with a flat piece of wood between the jack and the tank.Make sure you spray the bolts you are going to remove with plenty of wd40 before trying to remove them.
