car wont start

i have a hyundai accent coupe, i fitted a stereo and something shorted, all the fuses are ok but the stereo, clock dont work and the car wont start. do you have any ideas, or do you know if it has an immobiliser that may have been triggered

recheck fuse number five in the passanger compt fuse box it not only powers the radio and clock but it also powers the ecu . also how did you check the fuse . by looking at it or did u use a dvom . also check to see --- key on engine off does the check engine light come on write me back

my fuse box is on the drivers side and clock/radio is fuse 3, but checked that by swapping it wiv another fuse. i dont get wat you mean about the "key on engine off does the check engine light come on" part, sorry i dont no much about cars

ok sorted it now, it was fuse 12. thanx for your help, everyone thought it was a fuse prob, but cldnt c it, rechecked like u said n noticed 3 was radio/clock, 12 was radio/clock/ecu, and that was dead
