Thumbs up Rematch 3000GT SL vs. SRT-4

Well i just had my car tuned new injectors, plugs, wires, and recharged intake. I finally talked my friend into giving me another shot at his stock srt-4, the results are as follows.

we head to the local street strip and line up from a 20 mph role, i pull a half a car in first and he pulls even through second at this point we are at about 75 i shift into third and slowly walk him to a 3/4 to full car length victory. we finally shut down at the end of third which rests at about 105,

he tells me he had a bad run so we line up from a stop, he honks 3 times we launch on the third, he pulls a 1/4 of a car through first and second towards the end of third i finally pull even and pass him just as i shift to 4th, i walked him all the way to the end of 4th about 130+ leaving me 1 and a half cars ahead. needles to say he was shocked, he gave me props and we went to the local i hop for a late night breakfast end of story.

for those unfamiliar with my modifications they are as follows
k&n fipk intake
dual plate clutch
lightweight flywheel
borla cat
17 inch weld evo rims ridin on toyo proxes T1'S
lightweight aftermarket underdrive pullys

the end thank you all.

I haven't ran in ages either... and last time I did was with a different engine. Going from stuff like desktop dyno and other specs from edelbrock I've gotten an estimate of 13.5, but I can't drive worth a shit for 1/4 mile... Prolly end up at 15 flat.

Thanks for the compliment. I signed up on cardomain.com for free. You can follow my link at the bottom that says "never ending money pit" and from there you can go to the homepage and sign up, etc.

My honda may have less displacement than your coke bottle, but I'll race your coke bottle for $1000. Who says there's no replacement for displacement?
