How to Program the BMW key

I just took delivery of my 2004 325i and forgot to ask the dealership to program the key so the car would make a sound and would flash turn signals when I arm/disarm the alarm. I want to know if anyone knows before I pick up the phone. We all know how disinterested they become once you sign the papers. Please email any responses to [email protected]. Thanks.

Re: How to Program the BMW key

mechy1barry;
could you post your responce to 'thesamba'. I'm watching with great interest as 'Initializing' the keypads is done independent of the service testers,
I know of no way to 'Reprogram/Personalize' the vehicle system W/O a MoDiC/GT-1 or the Sales Dept. unit Dealers may have........thanks............jb.

Re: How to Program the BMW key

the lights flashing with key button press is set in car/key memory with the DIS machine or GT1. Programming the key remote function is done without having to go to the dealer.

this programme is for rebooting the key fob for the opperation of central locking and alarm on a majority of the marque, in most cases does not include the immobiliser.if anyone requires further info ,email please with full info on car.
