HELP! Every time it rains, my 96 GT starts squeaking like an old wagon in the right front...Liberal amounts of WD-40 to the lower control arm seem to quiet the squeak until it rains again...What needs to be done to stop this on a permanent basis??? New Bushings? WHAT???

new ball joint. or try regreasing your old one. the full service manual will tell you the exact procedure for replacing it. it's probably a 5-10 dollar part.

Re: Squeak Fix?
Yep sounds like ball joints! Look and see if the boot is busted. If not see if it has a grease fitting.
