Sunroof problems
It seems someone tried to break into my car via the sunroof.
I noticed a few days ago that the rubber edging used to make the seal was pulled (a tiny bit) back. Since then, whenever I open my sunroof fully, with all others windows up, it lets out this awful, low-pitch vibration that is intolerable. I went to the dealer and they didn't seem surprised. The 18-year old behind the counter knew exactly what I was talking about. Good thing I take my car to DubWerks, huh?

The seal cost $120 CDN, and HOLY CRAP it was a @#$%^&ing pain in the ass to put the seal on. I'm sure there's a secret magic tool that makes it easy. But not having it I had to painstakingly do it by hand. Do you think I could impose upon you to let me know what it cost for your mechanic to fix yours for you??? ...Unless you found the 1 NICE and honest dealership around that actually re-seated the seal instead of replacing it. |

Re: Sunroof problems
yeah- I'm a bit concerned with the dealerships around here... (read my post "my dealer is trying to screw me") Unfortunately, the shop I usually go to is going to be closed up for the next week for the big open house for the S2 Turbo Upgrade Kit they've patented.
So, I've got to go to the dealer this time. If they screw it up though, I swear I'm going to take it right to DubWerks and have them do it.
