Unhappy help me please

hello, im scape. i own a 1985 buick regal limited with the 3.8/231 v6 (i think thats it). my story - car stops one day... needs a new starter... comes back with a loud knocking noise and thats the end of that engine. i am looking for put a new engine in but i want power seriously. i am wondering what engines will fit into my regal. a comprehensive list would be rather nice but i would like to know which ones will produce the most power at stock. also can you suggest any websites that might aide me in my "project"? i have had this car for about a year now and it has been sitting in my driveway since then. thanks in advance for any information and advice.

Re: help me please

A 3.8 V6 is your best bet, you may get a Series II 3800 (96 and newer) to fit.
