Re: radio codes

If you can't find the card it's pretty simple to get the code from the dealer ship. All you have to do is get the serial number off the radio (located on the top). If you don't know how to take out the radio it's extremely simple (took me about 5 mins the first time). Just let me know if you need help.

Re: radio codes

atx or manual? All you have to do is remove the black trim around the radio by prying on it with a screw driver. It has two clips in the top that hold it in place so pry out from the bottom or the sides. After you pop that radio trim piece off then there should be 4 phillips screws that hold the radio to the chassis. Remove those and the radio slides right out. (Tip disconnect the antenna plug in the back before attempting to pull radio out. It will give you enough slack to reach the radio wiring harness) If you have a mtx, you can take the shift boot off and simply reach back behind the black trim pannel and push it off from the back and then remove the phillips screws. Either way is extremely simple and quick.

I was cleaning my engine bay and Disconnected the battery ( ) and so of course the radio reset itself! I called the closest dealership and they want $65 and for me to bring it in for the stupid code and thats not happening. I took off the boot and popped off the surrounding plastic coover and got to the serial number jsut like crawler said, I called the place back and they said that they wouldent do me a favor and that I would need to go in anyways to show my title, I can't do that because I jsut got the car and the RMV hasn't sent me my new title yet. The serial # is 46189107 if anyone has a buddy that works at a dealership or somthing who can hook me up with my stupid code I'll sell you my soul .

Re: radio codes

I was going to sell my soul on ebay...but somebody already did it...so my original idea apparently wasn't that unique. I work at a dealership, but not in the part that would deal with that, I'll ask tomorrow, but I don't know anyone over there and I doubt that they would be at all helpful anyways, judging by all their previous behavior. But I'll ask

Well my dad owns a small Landscape architecture firm and has employed me in the past as a model builder/gofor, I wanna get an independant job where I can earn comission like radio shack or circut city (any ideas would be greatly appriciated!).

Re: radio codes

Well, Circuit City isn't doing comission anymore. I know a guy who works there and that's what he told me. Radio Shack will pay you $6.75 an hour (which sucks) but do pay comission. Here's the thing though.....I hardly EVER see anyone in there so I don't know how the employees make a lot. Maybe try Good Guys. I'm pretty sure they're still doing comission and last I heard, they're still pretty busy. Either way, good luck.
