Question crown vic motor in a stang ?

i have access to a 88 mustang that use to have a 302 and a auto c4 but doesnt anymore, and a 89 crown vic with a good motor and tranny . i was wondering if the motor and tranny from the crown vic would fit in perfectly ?

If it is a 302 the motor should work, but I don't know about the tranny.
