Unhappy ecm

I am trying to replace my ecm in a 1993 s15 jimmy with 4.3 engine. found the computer under the glove box but can't seem to figure a way to get it out, the book I have says that I need to remove the passenger hmmmm I dont know what to call it? it the shelf on the passenger side under the glove box? anyone have any ideas??

You've already done the hard part.

Remove the screws from the trim under the dashboard. After you do that, you'll see mounting bolts that you need to remove from the its bracket. There are more retaining bolts connected to the ECM. Remove those. Slide the module out far enough to remove the connectors.

Note: Make sure you disconnect your negative battery cable and the ignition switch is in the off position.

found the bolts and worked great....came out easy but a little hard to get it back in. hope this fixes the fuel problem I am having
