92 Headlight question

My previous message was about my bright lights indicator not working. Well, I was poking around under the hood and found a box on the firewall on the passenger side. The connection going to it was loose, and plugging it in securely turned the lights on. My indicator on the dash worked now, but the lights couldn't be turned off. Anyone know what this box is, or what the problem is? Maybe someone has a manual that they could find this? Mines on the way, but won't be here for a while. Thanks.

Read the post about the running lights module, went over to our local wrecker and bought one for $20. Works good as new. Hope it lasts.
