Re: replacing caliber

I'm not a mechanic, but Ive always been taught that whenever you bleed your brakes, you start at the tire closest to the Master cylinder, and work out, from there. Always bleeding all 4 brake lines.

As for the abs light, double check your ABS cable line, a few years back my ABS line was slightly cut and I ended up having to replace the ABS sensor unit.

I don't know what to tell you about the caliper being locked up.

Re: replacing caliber

driverside-front then passengerside-front then driverside-rear then passengerside-rear as far as the abs light being on once you get the brakes bleed right it should turn off. if not disconnect the battery and reconnect it

Re: replacing caliber

Sometimes the caliber isn't at fault at all,try replacing the brake hose since you have a new caliber.Hoses can keep the caliber from being able to release pressure.
