|
anyone heard of/used these paints?
i was looking in my garage and i found some spray paint. i found duplicolor except its the wrong color... but i also found a can of Mar Hyde Brand Supreme truck and van paint and a can of Nu Hue sandable automotive surface primer(which is silver). basically wat im asking is can u use any automotive paint with any surface primer on a model(or just those two together)?

The best way to find out what works is to experiment, there are so many different paints out there.
Test paints on scrap parts and pieces, if they don't react with the plastic and damage it, you may be able to use it.

Those paint might be too tick for modelling.. Most of the "hard" paint or "anti rust" paint are too tick (ie. You will cover all details) I don't sugest it
Also, you will find many good information on automotive (and other) paint in the FAQ
