door handle
can anyone tell me how to fix an interior door handle on the drivers side for a 2001 camry the handle broke off

You'll need to purchase a replacement first, there is no way to fix the old one. After you've done this, you'll need to pry up the panel from the middle of the handle, and remove the screw. After that, you'll need to insert a small flat head screwdriver into the gap above the lock slider and under the handle to depress the retainer clips, after that, pull out and push toward the front of the car, then there will be two more screws that hold the handle to the inside of the door, after you remove those, remove the lock rod, and the lever rod, and you're ready to install the new one. It's fairly simple.

It's almost brain surgery, although if you think about it, just about any operation you carry out on your car is practically brain surgery of some kind...the instructions almost always make the job sound more difficult than what it really is.
