I Got A Problem And Neeed Help Quick!!

I have a 1995 Gmc Suburban c1500, automatic 2wd. I've been having transmissions problems for some while. the trans. works good in a everyday drive, but when we go on trips i have problems. It starts out well but after a couple of hours of driving it starts to fail. The speed goes down and when you accelerate it doesn't. It just makes a sound like your reving it but no speed. It goes up to 25 mph and doesn't want to go up. i need some advice please help.

Check your fluid for proper level and color first. It could just be low. If it looks brown or black you probably fried some clutches.

the fluids are okay the only weird thing is that the trans fluid comes out of the coolant tub.

Whoa! The trans fluid comes out of what? If you are getting trans fluid in your coolant, then you are likely getting coolant in your trans... NEITHER IS GOOD!!! Especially if your running dexcool. The auto trans has a fluid cooler that is built into the radiator. a leak could have developed. This is the only way I can think of that ATF could get in the coolant. If so, take it to trusted mechanic and have the radiator and trans cooler pressure tested ASAP. If there is a leak, have it repaired and FLUSH BOTH systems. Coolant will definately ruin your trans.
