Computers in the trunk?

1. I removed the trunk lining in my 2004 to put some insulation behind it to quiet the road noise comming through the back seat. I found a metal box about 8x6x3 on the drivers side under the antenna and the antenna was plugged into it. Any Idea what it is?

2. I found another smaller metal box on the passenger side behind the back seat with a cable of colored wires comming out of it? Any Idea what that one is?

3. If this car had keyless entry where exactly would the module be? I have been told that it may just be disconnected.

Thanks

Re: Computers in the trunk?

#1 item is part of the radio, unplug it and the radio won't work. Exactly what part of the radio I don't know. The manual should tell you how to disable the keyless entry.
