Intrique 99 Remote
Remote for 99 Intrique is not responding after installing new battery. Is there a way to reprogram remote without taking to a dealer.

Hi
You need to "re-sync" the remote. Hold down lock and unlock together for appx. 7 seconds or until the horn chirps. You have to do this after battery replacement, or if you car battery is dead/removed.

I'm not saying this ain't true, but after I replaced my battery the remote still worked no problem. Maybe I got a diff model remote/receiver? '99 GX 3.5.
