transmission problems again
ok just got a transmission rebuilt and its a 5 speed ....put in new throw out bearing and clutch and pressure plate;;;;;;its still got a rattlin noise coming from under the truck push the clutch in the noise stops ,,,,let it out in nuetral it starts back up again.....havent drivin the truck yet to see if it does it in gear any ideas???????????

ok think ive found the problem but im not sure looked up in there i can see the throw out bearing just spinnin away is that normal i was thinkin it should be disengaged when in nuetral?????? this has a hydralic clutch any ideas

this really sucks....guess ill start tearin it back out less someone can help me out here.....anyone good on manual transmissions???????

try posting on my home forum, www.trustmymechanic.com Click online community. I am one of many moderators there, and we have a mechanic from the Longstreet Chev. Dealership (GM_Mech_319) and we also have the owner and opperator of a certified transmission shop, along with several other qualified shadetree mechs and DIY's. I would ask on here, and kinda direct the post to him....In the topic put ATTN: Transman (that's his ID)
