I am changing out the engine on my 95 saturn DOHC manual and would like any information i can get to make this easier. I am going to take it out from the top, should i pull the tranney out with it? Can i leave the starter, altinator, ect. on the engine? Do i discontect both cvc shafts? Any help would be appriciated

Re: engine removal

you need to pull the trans at the same time, just pulling the engine won't fit

if you have acess to a lift, its easiest to take it out the bottom. you just drop the whole subframe with th engine and trans attached. if you have to do it on the ground, then youll have to seperate the trans from the engine, then pull the engine out.
