rim size....too big? just right?

I got my eye on a set of A.Z.A rims. The size is 18x8.5 with a set of 225/40/18 tires? Will the rims stick out? Will they fit ok? i dont care if it messes up my speedometer. The rims are sick. They're deep dish and the car is 98 R/T. Any help please.

all spacers will do is push out the rim a bit so you can fit those wide tires on your neon, then the tires wont rub, you really should only need two for the front and you should be able to get a set at any rim shop for less then 20 bucks.

Re: rim size....too big? just right?

yes they will thats why you would need to get fender flares or roll your fenders, and you will need spacers in the back too cause I have 215 in my back and they are almost touching

Re: rim size....too big? just right?

Why would you want 18"s anyway? Thats huge for a small car.

Re: rim size....too big? just right?

because ive had 17's before and i thought they looked too small, ive seen 19's on a neon and they look sick, and plus everybody and there brother has 17's, so why not go a lil step further? ANYWAYS, ive decided not to go with those rims so thanks for you help, ill stick with 215/35/18. Thanks for the help
