timming problems
Hi, I own a 88 civic hatchback 1.5L DPFI 4 speeds.
I change the timming belt, and now I have a 19 Code on my ECU, I saw the manual and this is a TDC problem, Please help me. I try with another distribuitor but no change. And also I have a code 9 "system overload" please help me

Did you set your #1 piston to TDC when you set your timing? Does it run OK? Not bogging in the higher rpm's or anything?
And about the code 9 I have no idea really. Maybe a relay or something? I'm not too good with electrical.

Uh, wow you confused me witht he high and drop and high and drop thing.
But from what I think it sounds like is your timing is off. Maybe just try to set it again. When I did my headgasket I set my timing off by one tooth and it ran like poo. But that was on the valve train side, and I didnt throw any codes. I just set my timing by ear, cause I'm the man LOL. Not really. Give me some more info and I'll try to help you out the best I can, and If I can im sure someone else can.
