Kills with AC on

Hi, here is my problem. My escort hesitates/sometimes kills at stop signs. It kills easier if I let up on the gas quickly.

Today I noticed my AC fuse wasn't connected. When I plugged it in(I was moving at the time) the idle started to race up and down and the car eventually killed.

I can drive it OK if the air blower/defrost/AC knob is OFF. If I engage it the problems start. But if the car is in park and I engage the knob, it will only kill if I give it gas or put it in rev/drive.

I hope this was a good enough explanation, all input would be appreciated! Thanks

Re: Kills with AC on

Try the TPS. Generally, they aren't too expensive but the symptoms point that way. Hope this helps.
