Question Plez Which Interior Paint?

I have my 01 Chevy S-10 and the interior needs a new paint job. I would like to know which is the best interior paint that i should use for a very glossy finish without it shrinking? Any information would be gladly appreciated

Re: Plez Which Interior Paint?

heres exaclty what i did and mine looks very nice
1. remove everything u want to paint from the car
2. spray everything off really good
3. (this is optional) sand alittle bit of someof the bigger pieces
4. primer (that i got from autozone)
5. paint it the color (got paint from autozone as well)
6. put 3 or 4 coats of gloss (again from autozone)
7. be carefully when putting everything back in that u don't scratch anything

Re: Plez Which Interior Paint?

any big name brand of spray paint will work such as Krylon or even if you can find a GM brand (not sure where to find that tho)...wesw02 said that sanding was optional, but if i were you id sand everything youre planning on painting to help keep it from chipping and pealing. Start with a low grit paper and gradually work up to a fine grit to smooth it out but dont get to into it..ya dont wanna sand the pieces away, just enough to scratch the surface then smooth it out again. Go slow, take your time and just put on very light coats until youre happy with you work then put on 2-4 coats of clearcoat.

good luck

Re: Plez Which Interior Paint?

gase hit it perfect thats exactly what i did, started with low grit and then work my way up to high grit (but remember don't sand to much with one grit or you'll sand it to thin and it could break)
