Flickering temperature display

I have a 1990 Astro LT AWD with 116k miles. The instrument panel is a digital display. Recently while driving, I noticed the temperature display flickering while the other displays remained normal.

Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Re: Flickering temperature display

You might want to check the sensor that sends the information to the display. If it's not the sensor, it might be the guage.
