Brake Dust & oil pressure on new 04 Sonoma

I am a new owner of a 2004 Sonoma SLS. Over the past week I have put 1,000 miles on it. During this time my front wheels have become dis-colored by brake dust. This is my 5th new GM truck (95 Sierria, 00 S10, 01 Sierra, 04 Silverado, 04 Sonoma) and the only one that has had a brake dust problem. The dealer says this is normal (no surprise).

Anyone else have this problem?

This truck also gives the appearance of having low oil pressure. When cold it registers 50 lbs. When hot and at idle, it drops to 20-25 lbs. The dealer says that hot idle should be 24 lbs. Most of my other trucks will register 60 lbs at start-up and 40 lbs at hot idle. Should I be concerned? I checked a couple others at different dealerships before I purchased and both seemed about the same.

I have a '01 4.3 sls & it does the same thing.. This is normal.
