Odor from air conditioning :-(

Anyone with any ideas as to how to reduce or eliminate the musty odor I get when I first turn on the air conditioning in my 99???? If the air has not been used for a week or so it can be quite strong.
Thanks for any advice.

Well... if the 99 is a new body style 99, then there is an air filter located under the dash on the passengers side. Read through your owners manual and it will tell you exactly how to remove and replace it. This should help.
