Had an "audition" for a band tonight, went GREAT, and they want me as their bass-player. Which is really sweet because I've only been playing bass for about 2 weeks. I've played guitar for a long time and messed around on the bass a bit, but that's it. These guys are really good, and it was so much fun.

It's a cover-band, which is fine although I'd rather be doing originals, but it's still going to kick ass!

Don't currently have a name... it was Audioburn, but since Audioslave came out, it's kinda weaksauce. Guess they're thinking of another name.

So, a bit of a smattering of different stuff. Trying to keep it with stuff that everyone knows. Aparently, the whole focus of the band is to play music that will get guys laid (when we play shows), so they're trying to play music that will have women wanting to dance, etc. Need more slow songs though, they've got about 40 songs worked out so far, I just have to catch up, but I've got about 10 of them down so far.

btw, if you dont use a pick for the bass and use your fingers let me give you some advice. BE SURE TO WARMUP AND STRETCH YOUR FINGERS!!
I really messed up my middle finger(yes my favorite finger ) becuase I dont warm it up before jamming out. I couldnt play bass for a month or so but its all good now..
