gsxr 600 vs r6

which bike is would u rate as the better bike as far as perfromance n durability?

I think it's also subjective, some people here claim R6 is better at overall performance while Suzukis are better at durability. While each respective riders would not touch the other bike. There's a strong beef among these two bikes.

Some say yamahas transmission aren't the best out there, while the GSXR 600 is a bit sluggish on handling, etc, etc... goes on and on... if you use the search feature, it's all there.

They both have excellent performance, you'd have to be almost professional to be able to use either bike to it's full potential. As for reliability, 99% of modern streetbikes will be crashed before their engines wear out (unless extreme strain was put on it).

And neither is a good first bike.
