Exclamation 91 A/C!!!! Help!, I'm burning up!

Ok, so i drained my R-16 Freon out, to put the R-134 conversion kit in, and i turned my car on, and turned the temp down to 60, because thats the only way i know how to maybe turn the a/c on since theres no A/C switch, and i put the oil in, then a can of R-134, then it stopped taking the second can about half way. My friends uncle came up and noticed my compressor wasn't even on, so all i did was fill up my lines to my compresser, so i checked all my fuses and they are all good. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG, OR WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM?? HELP ME PLEASE!!! thanks!

Re: 91 A/C!!!! Help!, I'm burning up!

your using one of those interdynamic death kits.

Do a search on Air Conditioning death kit or Interdynamic death kit and read the reviews.

THey dont fix the original problem.

They add additional oil to the old mineral oil and they arent compatible so its likely the compressor will sieze soon anyways.

The old dryer is not compatible with 134

the oriface tube is metered for R12 and NOT 134 so even if it did work, it wont work well.

I used one of these kits before I knew better (heck, only $30) and the ac worked for a few months (but it was kinda cold for those months). then the compressor freezed up. then I learned how to do it right.
