Angry Explorer won't

HI
Today when i got in my car I turned the key, and it turned for like a second than it stop. I was wondering if someone can help diagnosis this problem. I believe it's a Starter I just don't want to go out and replace the wrong part. anyone with advice please help

Sounds like the battery. To be sure, get someone to jump start you, then drive down to your local parts store and have them test the battery and alternator. That way you'll know exactly which one is bad before you go out and buy anything.

Yeah sounds like the battery to me as well test before replace. I just bought a new starter and a starter relay when the problem was only the battery cable !!!

what kind of sound does it make,is it a click,if not it could be the power steering pump,sometimes they lock up,if it locks up the belt wont spin stopping everything from working.check the battery make sure it has enough volts on the meter.i sugguest that you take the battery in to the auto parts place and have it tested.

Make sure its not just loose vacuum hoses. If one falls off or something it will start then stall out almost immediately. If not probably a battery.
