Re: LS V-tedc

b16 head is most common, b18c(jspec) would be the best... h22 into integra's are a huge pain in the ass, not worth it, and i'm assuming you don't have that much knowledge about that sorta stuff, so you'd be better off letting a shop do your ls-vtec

B16 head is the best flowing head next to the ITR head (B18C5 Head)

The B16 head is essintially the same as the ITR head. The ITR head has larger valves and a beefier valve train and better cams as well as a better Intake Manifold but it is much closer to a B16 head then it is to a GSR head.

GSR LS VTECs are done all the time because you can pick up a GSR head for cheap and most people think the GSR head is similar to the Type R head when in fact it is not.

If you are going to do an LS VTEC search www.honda-tech.com it is the best place to learn about this swap. Also look into buying the Golden eagle LS VTEC kit which allows the heads to bolt to the Non Vtec block without any drilling. Also it includes the oil lines necessary without drilling the block more then needed.

Hope this helps. If you want to know anymore feel free to AIM me at BrokenLimits

Re: LS V-tedc

Welcome to AF. Also if you do a search on LS/VTEC you will find all you need to know. And just a little fyi, it is vtec, not v-tedc, or v-tech, etc. Alot of people find it ammusing to flame noobies who don't know their terms yet. so to save you from a future flame.....vtec. And ass mentioned the easiest and cheapest way to go would be the b16a head from a civic si. Good luck!
