Info on how to get into the AF IRC chatroom.

Well, this is a start. In time we will make things look a little nicer, and prettier. Here is a basic tutorial on how to download, and install mIRC so that you can connect to the #AFchat IRC chatroom. Here is the link to the tutorial. Yes, I know its plain and simple. But hopefully simpe enough to understand. Any questions, comments, tips, flames, etc. Feel free to post them here.

What server are you on to avoid me having to read that whole tutorial.

All the ones I go to are on undernet which obviously this isnt cause its not there.

We are #AFchat, on the Dalnet server.

For those of you who do not want to download mIRC, or cannot because you are at work. We have a web based IRC setup. Go here: http://irc.foo.is/cgi-bin/irc.cgi and put in one of the servers from here: http://www.dal.net/servers/index.php3 Put in your username, and away you go.

Damnit people, we need more people in the mIRC chat, there is hardly ever any one there. I see Jay there from time to time, Jimmy was there earlier, Judge is there sometimes. It would be great if there were gobs of people there all the time.

I never got there because Im always on undernet (for #nzhondas) not dal so id have to run two copies of MIRC at the same time

I've noticed this, I hope it's not because I was gone. Anyways, I'm back in action after my week long March Break from school, so if you come on I should be there. Hopefully we can get the room back up to the level it was at a month ago.

I would go back but since Dal-net decided to change the way their servers work I can no longer log in. We are on a DSL and a server and Dalnet is requireing something I can not seem to get to work. The send user name or something. I have sent emails, read all the bullshit tutorials, done everything I can think of but still can not log on. I keep getting the auto ban or auto boot.

So until the IRC channel is moved off the Dalnet service I will not be back, sorry guys.
