Good day all,

Anyone have the factory part number for a '88 528e fuel pump relay.

All I have been able to find is this Bosch number: 0 332 019 456.

Thanks

Re: Fuel pump relay

you don't need a BMW part and any import parts store will have a replacement but here are some P/N

61 31 1 378 297 fuel pump relay [4-pin]

12 63 1 708 646 dme main relay [5-pin]
same as
12 63 1 729 004 dme main relay [5-pin]

0 332 209 151 dme main relay....for 3.3L engines
with the 'Hamilton Campaign Fix'

hope this helps..........................................jb.

I need the part numbers for the main and fuel pump relays for a 1995 BMW 540i.

First is was cutting off and now it will not start at all. The parts stores I talk with tell me they need a part number. Thanks.

Many Thanks. Also are these relays located on the easily accessible compartment with the fuses or in the compartment that you access by removing the 4 screws in front of the front seat passenger. What appear to be relays there seem to be blocked by a lot of wires in 3 banks.

Re: Fuel pump relay

"804jim".......sorry for the delay, hope you've fixed it by now. IF NOT the relay part #'s are the same as I listed above. There in the R/F E-box [held by 4 phillips screws]. you'll see them down between the control units also mounted in the box......jeff b.

Thanks. Replaced the fuel pump relay and main relay to no avail. Took it to the dealer who replaced the crank shaft sensor for about $250 to fix the problem.

Re: Fuel pump relay

Well, I always like the simplest and cheapest first if you can't do real troubleshooting and diagnosis.
