How To - Removing Graphics

After my recent post, I know there will be a few people asking about removing graphics. So I will show you.

Tools -
Nail Polish Remover - Make sure you get the one marked Non-Acetone
Q-Tip and old rag

Even though it's an easy project it may not work on all cars, so find a test car to begin with.

Take your Q-Tip or rag and apply the NPR on it, then work it on the graphic. It may take a little elbow grease but it should disappear leaving the paint. Make sure you don't hit the windows or chrome.

After that go over it again to get some of the excess off. Then polish and It'll look like you bought the car like that.

Re: Re: Re: How To - Removing Graphics

I've used this technique many times so I just want to issue this warning. If enough elbow grease and nail polish removed is applied it can strip down normal auto paint. This happened to me when trying to strip off a large portion of graphics from my Import Racer supra. Usually this won't be a problem but don't go crazy with this stuff thinking your paint is immune.
