lifesaver, don't let a mechanic or dealer screw you on this one
I have a 2001 GMC Yukon XL. One day, after a short drive, I turned it off and I could hear something still running underneath the driver's seat outside of the vehicle. As it turned out, it was the ABS pump that was running and I had to pull the ABS fuse to get it to stop. The problem is with the ABS EBCM or Electronic Brake Control Module. A mechanic or dealer will charge from $900 to $1200 to fix it and they will just replace the module with the same kind of module and it will break again. Go to EBAY and search ABS EBCM and read all about it. Only cost me $143 for everything, including shipping back and forth and it was easy to take in and out and I don't work on cars a lot. He guarantees the work and I recommend him highly, read all of his feedback on EBAY.
