turbo body failure

hi, i bought a 6 month old Z4 2.5i from a BMW dealer 3 weeks ago. after 900 miles i spent an evening by the road waiting for the tow truck! It appears that the turbo modulator has blown and they are fixing it. I'm worried the car is going to keep failing and that the engine is damaged. does anyone know anything about the turb body?
before the breakdown i was loving the car!

Re: turbo body failure

uhm ... Z3's don't have a turbo, so no turbo body rupture possible. (unless the previous owner had one installed as part of an aftermarket kit)
I think it's more likely to be the throttle body. Just replace it, shouldn't be that expensive, and it certainly doesn't indicate there's something wrong with the engine, since it's only a part of the air intake
