Re: 95 accord ex front wheel stud removal/install

hmmm i had a ghetto way of doin mine... funny story didnt tighten my lug nuts well enough thought i did drove down the road did a peel out and 3 of my lug nuts fell off, breaking 2 studs stripping 1 of them and the other barely on..... after a 30 minute struggle trying to get home with my gf brother driving and carefully listening we got it home while ridding under 1 stud for front left wheel.... with 3 studs being jammed every once and a while in the rotor..... anyways take the tire off take the caliper off if u can with very little room push the stud behind the lil crack the caliper gave u to push the studd throw and to pull of the old ones just simply knock them out and rotate the rotor right slowly and using ur left hand to push it against the side of the rotor and pick it up as it gets out.... to tighten just get a bunch of o ring things fasteners whatever that can fit through the stud put on the lug nut and hit it with and impact or else tighten the best u can with ur wrench letting them lock up.... if this helps thats koo.... did this to my 95 accord lx.... have fun.... dont do what i did.....

What about the heat shield? Won't that get in the way of the stud?

Re: 95 accord ex front wheel stud removal/install

Thanks...it has already been fixed. I questioned about the cleareance cuz I called a supposely expert on hondas and he told me that the hub needs to be press out or something. :/

Ur right, there was a huge clearance for the studs to go out. Easiest job ever. Had more trouble with my first oil change. haha

Thanks again!
