1993 blower motor problems

i had no blower motor 1 1/2 yrs ago. changed the blower motor and no problems till last week. it is doing the same thing again . starts then stop for who knows how long then kicks back on and blows for who knows how long. put new blower motor in tonight. now it kicks on/off more frequently and i lost my 3 lowest speeds. dealer says they think its a ground by the description of problem. dont want to go the electrical check route because of expense. any ideas. i am thinking about the resistor card i keep seeing pop up here as its cheap.

Replace the resistor card. It is cheap money and easy to do, and is the cause for 100 different blower issues.

Hope this helps.

Smile thanks

Thanks for the response. When I got to looking at the parts and stuff that I could track down I found the blower motor relay had burnt the purple wire leading to the blower motor so bad the connector melted.. I replaced both of those to the tune of $26 dollars. Least you had me looking the right direction.thank you.
