=) heya's
hey fellas and lady's...new to the forums=)...first big question...i got a 95 3.4L V6 camaro...i wanna get 434 for it...externally its the same as the 350 5.7L...atleast from what i hear...it should fit right? there shouldn't be too much hassle (other then all the shit you gotta do in an engine swap anyway) to get it in there...besides the whole new tranny... cause its an auto and i wanna go manual... I was also thinking maybe getting a 400...cause my dad has a crank for one already so there savin' 800 bucks...

lol i don't really know...i'm just passing info i get from my dad...(loves my dad and his uber car knowledge) he said externally the 434 smallblock is the same as the 350...so why not go with the extra 80 cubes...from what i understand you'd have to change the cat converter everytime it need to get e-checked but other then that should be street legal...minus the whole thing about insurance fruad and whatnot...lol nothing like a supposed V6(according to VIN #) makin' 650hp...which is roughly the HP we think we can get outa 434 and $10K

Re: =) heya's
if you just had a z28 and you put the $10k into it it would end up with way more than that!

well i don't have one=)...so if you included the price of the enigne...it wouldn't make that much..and still run on 93 octane...350...434...i think i'm gonna go with the later unless i can get one super cheap...

yeah i wanna know too. the only way i can think of is like ridge said. you can get like 443ci from the motown block cuz it can go to 4.2 bore and is cleared for a 4 inch strock but im still wondering about the 434ci.

Re: =) heya's
The new line of GM blocks can make a ton of hp. From the LS1, even to the 6.0L engine that comes in the truck. Those things can be beastly if you do them up well.

Re: =) heya's
434 is a stroked 400 small block....
it will fit, but if you do not go with the ram style EFI intakes you will have to cut the cowl to fit a carb/throttle body under there. also remember that you will need a vary small/low profile distributor as well since there is no room under there.

i think i'm actually going to use a 350 with 400 crank(383)...cause we have the major components laying around to do that...jsut need some headers...and new exhaust...will the current tranny be able to hook up to it? or will i be better off with a new one?
