help with my 94 camaro!

does anyone no what causes my 94 camaro to rough idle? when i stop at red light 4 a long time, my car seems to shake! and it feels like its gunna die. no gauge lights go on to remind me of a serious problem. should i worry about it? ive change the alternator , o2s , plugs and wires, pcv and all fluids seem to be full. i also check for leaks, seem to be find! yeah its a v6 - 3.4 just got to a 100,000 miles

Re: help with my 94 camaro!

could be a bad injector, or a failing IAC valve, clogged fuel filter, or worse case a bad fuel pump. id do the fuel filter and go from there.

Re: help with my 94 camaro!

they sell body kits for berettas???????? to be honest, that dont look all that bad, zat got the 305 in it??? im thinking alot of potential there.

oh and if the IAC was caked with black resin, i highly reccomend an induction service, either jackobs or BG depending on where you live and all. i did it to my IROC and it made a major difference, cuz she hadnt had any service in 14 years lol.

Re: help with my 94 camaro!

how much would an induction service cost? and what will it do? have you ever heard of a cleaner call sea foam green, some one said it cleans out injectors , and some other stuff to help a shaky idle! should i try that? hey, i just bought a haynes repair manual it tells alot of info on my 94 camaro! but i think a found a mistake all ready , should i trust this book? in chapter two theres a diagram of a 3.4l engine cylinder coil terminal locations and i looked under my hood and its a little different; well wires 1, 3, 5 goto the left bank "driver side" and wires 2, 4, 6 goto the right bank (under my hood). in the diagram it looks like 1, 6, 5 goto the right bank and 2, 3, 4 goto the left bank "the driver side" i hope this dont confuse you . i guess you just goto see it. page 2A-1 of the haynes repair manual . anyway from the picture, my wires 3 and 6 are backwards. whos right does anyone no? if mines wrong my car still run pretty good!!! should i change them? will the mess my car up , maybe thats why my run a little shaky!!!

Re: help with my 94 camaro!

um, i thought your car was running rough???? crossed plug wires would do that. set up your wires the way the maual says, and see if the rough idle goes away.
