Rims bolt pattern...

This might be a stupid question, but I'm not an expert on this stuff so I'll ask...

My buddy has a 1998 Firebird with some nice 16" chrome rims that I might buy from him. Now my question is, will the bolt pattern on the pontiac's rims fit the Neon? His rims are the 5-lug OEM rims the car came with....I THINK the bolt pattern on his are 5x4.75. Are the Neon's 5x4.5 or something? Is there ANY way to ...hehe, MAKE it fit??

Re: Rims bolt pattern...

Update....I noticed there are a bunch of rim adapter kits floating around online, so the bolt pattern might not be too big of a "problem"....my only other question is, will I get tire rubbing if I put 16" rims with 225/50's on there? Ride height here isn't a problem, I can adjust that =) I'm just concerned with rubbing while turning the wheel. And once again, I THINK the rims are 16x8 ?

Wow...I posted this a long time ago, and NO, I didn't know what I was doing. I didn't have enough info on different bolt patterns and circles. I didn't ask that question to get dissed either, I asked it because I didn't know the answer. His tires were way too wide anyway, I dismissed the crazy idea awhile ago. FYI, rim adapters can be purchased that change the bolt pattern. There are adapters that change a 5x4.5 (aka, 5x100, or THE NEON'S pattern), to a slightly larger circle (aka, 5x4.75, or THE FIREBIRD'S). I didn't want to mess with all this stuff so I didn't go forward with it, I was just dreamin and thought I'd ask people who were smarter than I was about the subject.

Sorry for askin...

Do a search online for em. They're also on Ebay, but I dunno about buying them from there =). Here's an example of some on a Corvette site:
